A phone call. A rifle company with the resources to build something exceptional.
We laid out the improvements — tighter tolerances, refined geometry, real trigger adjustability, user-adjustable fit – you know, the stuff you expect from an 8-figure company. The response wasn’t “Let’s build the best.”
It was “But these already sell.”
That was the moment. The industry isn’t obsessed with building the best rifle possible. It’s obsessed with selling the next one. New cerakote. New camo pattern. Same tolerances. Same shortcuts. Playing Legos with parts and calling it innovation.
We were done with that.
Comfortable with margins. Comfortable with “minute-of-whatever.” Comfortable repackaging the same rifle with a different finish and calling it a new model year.
Tolerances drift. Ignition systems are under-sprung. Geometry is an afterthought. Barrels are “good for hunting.” And nobody pushes back because the standard is whatever ships.
When you’re 9 miles deep and finally get a shot, comfortable doesn’t cut it.
We build rifles the way we felt they should have always been built. Not because it’s easy. Not because it’s safe. Because it’s right.
We build complete systems. Carbon stocks engineered for recoil control — not just aesthetics. Magnesium chassis designed for the backcountry — not the military. Ignition tuned for cold, not convenience. Barrels selected for performance, not supplier discounts. Suppressors that rewrite what’s possible at a given weight. Ammunition loaded to the kernel, not the margin.
Every component earns its place. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t go on the rifle.
When God puts something on your heart — you move. You don’t overanalyze it. You don’t water it down. You don’t wait for permission. You take the leap.
Because, as we like to say, “God hates a coward.”
We believe faith without action is empty, and excellence is a form of stewardship. If you’re going to build something that men trust with once-in-a-lifetime moments — it better be worthy of that trust.
That’s not marketing. That’s what gets us up in the morning.
